What You Need to Know

  • Your broker will be Karp Properties. Robert Karp is the designated broker.  Both are licensed in Arizona.
  • Karp Properties does not list property for sale or represent buyers. Therefore, it does not directly participate in real estate transactions.
  • Licensees that are hired by Karp Properties may only refer clients, they may not represent them.
  • Karp Properties reserves the right to pre-qualify any potential referral prior to sending it out the representing agent.
  • You have the option of a) choosing whom the referral goes to, or b) having Karp Properties find the best possible agent for the client.
  • Karp Properties fully discloses to the referral client that there is no cost to them and that a commission is paid to Karp Properties and the referring agent from the commission earned by the representing agent.
  • Karp Properties gets in writing an agreement for commission from the representing agent and broker for each referral.
  • You will not be joining a Realtor Association or a Multiple Listing Service. There are no dues to be paid.
  • Fees: $100 per year to have you license at Karp Properties.
  • Commission split. Unless otherwise agreed upon Karp Properties charges the representing agent 25% of the gross commission earned from the transaction as a referral fee.  Our fee to you is 12% of that commission if you pick the agent and 10% of that commission if we pick the agent.
  • You can refer clients to agents out of state. We will verify that the representing agent is properly employed.
